The Wellesbourne-based Engineering Technology Group (ETG) is set to host an online webinar on 22 February, to help manufacturers understand and benefit from the latest CIMCO simulation solutions for Mastercam CAM users. Mastercam is an industry-leading CAM solution used by machine shops worldwide, and this webinar will introduce the CIMCO software suite and the latest NC program editing and simulation updates that can enhance and streamline the application of the CAM system.

Hosted by Connor Fletchmoore, ETG’s CIMCO product manager, applications engineer and international sales manager, the 1hr webinar will educate manufacturers on the latest features in the ‘CIMCO Edit 2023 suite’ and the respective benefits. The informative course will also discuss the ‘CIMCO Machine Simulation’ (NC Code Simulation) and how this suite can streamline programming and production with the latest product enhancements.

He will also delve into ‘CIMCO Verify’, ‘CIMCO Verify Machine Simulation’ (post settings and external post) and ‘CIMCO Edit Integration for Mastercam’. With ‘CIMCO Edit Verify for Mastercam’, users can run a full stock simulation from start to finish in just a few seconds or faster, even on complex parts. Using the power of modern GPUs (graphic processing units), users can even run the simulation in real-time at the highest quality and see the stock update as it happens. Those interested in ramping up their programming and machining productivity and performance, can register for the event here.
